Notary Public in Chonburi / Pattaya / Sriracha

Common questions about notarial certification by a licensed Notarial Services Attorney in Thailand.

  • Is a Thai Notary Public the same as overseas?

Thailand uses the Notarial Services Attorney system, regulated by the Lawyers Council of Thailand. The certification is accepted by every foreign embassy and authority equivalent to a foreign Notary Public.

  • How much does Notary service cost in Chonburi/Pattaya?

Pricing starts at THB 1,500 per document depending on document type, language and number of pages. On-site visits to Pattaya, Sriracha and Laem Chabang are billed by distance.

  • What ID and documents should I bring?

Original ID card or passport of every signer, plus original documents and one set of copies. Companies must bring a company affidavit issued within the last 3 months and the company seal.

  • Can I do notarisation online?

Under current Lawyers Council rules, signers must appear in person. We offer mobile notary service to your home, hotel or office in Chonburi and the EEC — including Jomtien and Pattaya for expats.

  • After notarisation, do I still need MFA legalisation?

It depends on the destination country. Most countries require both MFA and the relevant embassy stamp afterwards. We handle the full chain — no need to travel to Bangkok yourself.

Translation — NAATI, MoJ & all languages

Translation by NAATI (Australia) certified translators and Ministry of Justice (MoJ) registered translators.

  • What's the difference between NAATI and MoJ?

NAATI translations are used for visas and government filings in Australia and New Zealand. MoJ translations are used for Thai courts and government agencies. We provide both, in-house, from Chonburi.

  • Which languages do you cover?

30+ languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Hindi and Vietnamese — focusing on the languages expats in Pattaya/Sriracha use most.

  • How long does translation take?

Standard documents (house registration, birth certificate) take 1–2 business days. Legal contracts take 3–5 business days. A 24-hour rush option is available in Chonburi.

  • What's the starting price for translation?

Basic documents start at THB 500/page. Certified translations with translator stamp run THB 1,300–2,500 per set depending on language and urgency.

MFA & embassy legalisation

Authentication at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and downstream embassies — handled end-to-end.

  • How long does MFA legalisation take?

Normal queue is 3 business days, express is 1 business day. Embassy legalisation depends on the country — we file directly and provide daily status updates.

  • Do I have to travel to Bangkok myself?

No. We collect documents in Chonburi/Pattaya/Sriracha, file them at MFA Chaeng Watthana and the relevant embassy, then deliver back. Single fixed quote.

  • Which embassies do you handle?

All embassies in Bangkok — including USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, China, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, UAE, India and many more.

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

Royal Thai Police background check, used for migration and work visas worldwide.

  • How long does a Police Clearance take?

Standard processing at Royal Thai Police HQ is 7–15 business days. Express variants are available case-by-case. We handle fingerprinting referral in Chonburi.

  • Can you handle PCC for expats currently abroad?

Yes — we can file based on prints taken overseas (e.g. UK ACRO, Australian fingerprint kit) and forward the certified result by courier.

Marriage registration & visa support

End-to-end support for binational marriage in Thailand and visa filings for both partners.

  • Can foreigners marry in Chonburi?

Yes. You need an Affidavit of Single Status from your embassy, translated and MFA-legalised. We prepare the full kit and accompany you to the Amphoe (district office).

  • Which visas do you commonly support?

Australia Partner 309/100, UK Spouse, Schengen short stay, US K-1 and CR-1, Japan spouse visa, plus business visas through BOI and the EEC industrial estates.
